Ryan Hegland graduated from Mahtomedi High in 2003, where he earned the Presidential Award of Educational Achievement.
His interest in photography began in high school with his first camera a Sony Mavica and a copy of photoshop. Photography became his focus while attending College, after deciding a career in Engineering or ITT was not for him.
Favorite photographic subjects include urban decay, food styling, photo manipulation and Rufus the cat.
